Miss VJ Reviews Ankle Booties from Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale

"Unfortunately, they were too small. I needed at least a half or even whole size up. The very pointy toe (along with the size issue) made them uncomfortable, but otherwise, the fit was nice and the leather was very soft.. The two and a half inch heel was well placed for balance. I needed a shoe horn to get them on and I consider that a good thing. Give them a try, but be prepared to size up. (6 out of 10)."

"Very sexy, very fun. Nice toe-box and a decent foot bed but no one is going to take any long walks in these. Beautiful teal suede. The top of the shoe did cut into my ankle a little but it might not do that for you. Give them a try (7 out of 10)."

"Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, what's wrong with me? Why do I keep coming back, knowing it's going to hurt? These boots have no padding, no arch support, a weird, put-you-on-the-ball-of-your-foot-then-kill-you-when-you-walk construction. Just plain uncomfortable which distracted me from any sexy styling cues (2 out of 10)."

"I surprised myself. I like these and this isn't the kind bootie I would normally pick up and try. Nice look, comfy but I suggest trying a half size up, for comparison. My only complaint, the top was wide and hit against my lower shin when I walked. Could be a problem walking in them all day. (5 out of 10)."

"This boot feels like the booty equivalent of a low-rider. The heel felt lower than the front. Snarky remarks aside, these booties have nice room in the toe-box, and good arch support. Not the kind of shoe I would usually reach for, but I say, check them out. (6 out of 10)."

Via Spiga, why do you torture me so? Not a good fit. For me. Too wide in the wrong places, too clunky. Too bad. Try the Stuart Weitzman instead (2 out of 10).
